Class Description: In this class you will forge cherry red metal into a knife blank, first with mild steel and then with carbon steel. You will use files and abrasives to finish the bevel profile, harden and temper the blade, and finally strop and hone the final blade. In addition to creating the knife blade we will discuss two option for handles. You will begin to shape and fit a handle to attach to the finished blade.
